Microsoft SQL Server is a relational database management system (RDBMS) produced by Microsoft. Its primary query languages are MS-SQL and T-SQL.

Wow Web Works primarily uses the MSSQL database system to manage and host websites. This database is where the site's information is stored and when you click on a link in the site, it calls that information up to the screen to populate that page.

The programming language we use to communicate with the Windows database is called ASP.NET.

The other popular RDBMS is not Apache (because Apache is a server like IIS is a server), but instead, the other popular RDBMS is in fact MySQL . Both systems are very good. Apache is the most popular free server, currently, and uses languages called PHP, CGI, and PERL instead of ASP.NET. MySQL is also free, including, PHP, CGI, and PERL, and all these play well with APACHE server. PERL Hackers are employed at such places as NASA, and HONEYWELL BANKS to develop secure, easily editable programming systems in-house.

UNIX is currently the preferred Operating System (like Windows,Mac,or Linux) to host internet sites with. This is due to the massive natural increase of security that comes from such framework / core.
